Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Begins

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, you may explore the Leh Market or take a peaceful walk. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2: Leh to Kargil via Mulbekh

Today, drive towards Kargil via Mulbekh, known for its ancient rock carvings and Buddhist influence. Pass through Namika La and Fotu La passes. Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru Monastery

Return to Leh, visiting the mesmerizing Lamayuru Monastery, perched on a hill amidst a moon-like landscape. Explore Magnetic Hill and Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers en route. Overnight in Leh.

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Cross the Khardung La Pass (one of the world’s highest motorable roads) to reach Nubra Valley. Enjoy the surreal Hunder Sand Dunes, Bactrian camel rides (optional), and camp under starlit skies. Overnight stay in Hunder.

Day 5: Hunder – Turtuk – Hunder OR Siachen Base Camp Excursion

Take a thrilling drive to Turtuk, the last village on the Indo-Pak border, rich in Balti culture. Alternatively, choose a scenic excursion to Siachen Base Camp (based on permit availability). Return to Hunder for overnight stay.

Day 6: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok

Drive through the dramatic Shyok River valley to reach Pangong Lake. Marvel at the changing hues of this saltwater lake located at 14,000 ft. Stay overnight in Pangong in a lakeside camp or cottage.

Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh

Wake up to the serene sunrise at Pangong and return to Leh via Chang La Pass. Visit Thiksey Monastery or Shey Palace en route if time permits. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 8: Departure from Leh

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your return journey, carrying back breathtaking memories of your cultural Ladakh adventure.
